WVCA will honor a volunteer engagement professional with this award to recognize a WVCA member for being an emerging leader in the volunteer management field. The Rising Star award is for new volunteer engagement professionals with up to five years of service in the industry. WVCA will present the award recipient with a personal gift and a $100.00 donation to the charity of their choice. Submission of this nomination is acknowledging the work and efforts of a valuable emerging volunteer engagement professional.

Mandatory Criteria:

• Attendance at the May 8-10, 2024 Conference Thursday lunch.

• Paid volunteer engagement professional, in their field for less than five years.

• Recipients must prove as an emerging leader in the volunteer engagement field and demonstrate ways in which they have already transformed the volunteer engagement industry within their organization or with their peers.

• Current WVCA member of the current year. You can email wvcamembership@gmail.com to confirm the nominee is a registered member.
